Imperial College London Diabetes Centre (ICLDC) provides services including the latest evidence-based protocols for diabetes treatment, prevention, and education in Abu Dhabi.  AE7 acted as the architect of record for Phase II built in Al Ain as an extension of the ICLDC’s services already provided in Abu Dhabi.  Phase II will provide services for patients in Al Ain as well as the Northern Emirate.

The Design Team developed the brief and layout to build upon the ideas of the Abu Dhabi facility to improve and enhance the patient experience. An efficient and smooth flowing sequence of treatment and consultation responsive to diabetes-related healthcare needs focuses upon the individuality of each patient. KMD Architects led the team as the lead designer and healthcare planner on this project and AE7 as the architect of record.
